In 1995 Woodland Creek Furniture`s founder, Robert Evina, graduated from college with a vision: to create a company that would produce unique rustic furniture from exotic woods. This vision was borne partly from having watched his uncles in Alaska craft log homes and rustic furniture but Robert wanted to take it to a different level! Like most entrepreneurs he had a few challenges in the early stages but ultimately set his sights on locating sources of the best exotic woods from which to craft his furniture.
